Dance classes

Weekly dance sessions are led by Julie, accompanied by live drummers.  Learn the choreography associated with each dance and rhythm, the cultural significance behind them, and how to listen for the musical cues that guide the steps. All experience levels are welcome! Simplified versions of dance steps will be given to those who are less experienced. We also periodically host guest teachers, including Malena Amusa (St. Louis, MO) and Monique Jones (Columbia, MO). More classes to come in the Fall. Please check back for details.
